Mahakaya's Brawl
A strange woman challenges a sword school.
I wanted to play with fast-paced action and as many camera angles as possible here.
Below the boards, you'll find sketches and early boards. I wanted Mahakaya to feel flexible and acrobatic so there are a lot of sketches playing with that.
Also, fun fact, Mahakaya (gigantic) is one of the names for the Hindu Hanuman. I was trying to find a way to give her a monkey-based name to match her fighting style.
My Favorite Fish Act 2 Storyboard
My Favorite Fish is an upcoming short film I was a writer and storyboard artist for. I had the pleasure of solidifying the shape of the story with the director, producer, and another writer.
After we nailed down the script, I did the first pass of storyboards for Acts 1 and 2. Afterward, I was given a chunk of Act 2 to revise.

One Little Monkey
The first act of a Dragon Ball-inspired short film I'm working on.
I wanted to explore the use of suspense, action, and emotions in each act. I hope to finish the rest at a later date.

Nuclear Picnic Storyboards Second Pass
The second pass for Nuclear Picnic's storyboards. Revised the boards according to critique from the class and what my team and I decided was best. Later adapted into an animatic that cane be watched here.
