My Favorite Fish (Animatic)
I did the first pass of storyboards for Acts 1 and 2 in the short film My Favorite Fish (coming out soon...) and afterward was given a chunk of Act 2 to revise into the final board.
To keep a feel for time we constantly edited the roughs and final boards into animatics/

Nuclear Picnic (Second Animatic)
After my team and I finished the rough storyboards, final storyboards, and then the animatic, we still weren't satisfied with the film. It was long, felt a little boring, and you could feel the gaping hole from the parts we wrote out.
But production needed to keep moving so I had everyone else work on backgrounds and character designs while I revised the animatic.
I tried to make it more exciting and implement the critique we had gotten.
Nuke Team Racing
I spent my Thanksgiving break making this animatic as a Plan B in case we jumped ship on our thesis project due to production issues.
I looked at what we had done (character designs and one 3D background of a wasteland) and what my team's interests were off hours (racing, comedy, and anime) and cobbled together a much shorter and less demanding animatic.
