Bleach x One Piece

The prompt for this project was to make a cover for a piece of media we loved. Music, manga, TV, anything. I decided to go with Eiichora Oda's One Piece as it's one of my favorites; but also because during that semester my social media feed was full of remakes of One Piece covers in the style of Tite Kubo's Bleach. While I don't hold Bleach as close to my heart as One Piece I have to say that Kubo's unique style of cover spoke to me. It had this elegant boldness. Only three elements in most of Bleach's covers, the series logo, a character with a slick pose, and a short statement or title.

You can feel it right. All is static and at the same time eternally popping out. So explosive in its simplicity. I hope I was able to get that emotion down in my own cover. The larger-than-life feeling with a strong pose and bold statement.
