That's Not My Face

In my WRIT 101 class, the final project was to make an essay in a format that relied on more than words. Slides, a PR video... a comic.

We were given about two weeks so I wasn't able to flex my drawing muscles much but I'm happy I was able to discuss an interesting part of comic history in terms of how black characters were drawn over the years and my feelings on the matter. Other than my words, I like the way I utilized the visuals of comics to show the way things have changes, in particular having my avatar match the style of the comic discussed.

Though, to be honest, this is one of the few comics I don't want to do again. Or at least, not as a comic. I think I have too many words and I'd be able to do more with a video essay format.
